What Does Crocheting & Yoga Have in Common? Let me tell you...

We all have start somewhere. We all start at the beginning and it's ok!

My yoga practice started in 1990. IT WAS HARD!! I used to say, "I'd rather run 10 miles than do 12 Sun Salutations on each side!

But I did both. Three years later, I was pregnant yet my practice just got stronger. I know my son was born "easy" because of my practice, and he slept through the night after a month and took 2 naps daily.

It took me 4 years to learn how to Meditate. But I didn't give up. Now it's the first thing I do after getting out of bed.

My Routine looks like this:

  1. Invert
  2. Meditate
  3. Breathwork
  4. Journal my Gratitude
  5. Read something inspirational (current read: "How to Loving" by Danielle LaPorte --- great book!
  6. Sometimes I go for a run or walk or I go to the gym
  7. Be Thankful!

Does my routine resonate at all?

(I think I've share this with you but it's important).

What Does Crocheting & Yoga Have in Common?

Many of my students crochet but I was not catching on until yesterday, I discovered what I was doing wrong and WAALAA!

I figure out the missing stitch!! So I made my second scarf and this one looks much better.

I'm excited to learn more but with PRACTICE, we can do whatever we'd like.

I wanted a YOGA PRACTICE and I wanted to learn to CROCHET! So I Practiced!!

So whatever you're trying to learn, be patient with yourself.

Go slow...

Go really S L O W ! ! !

Be kind & loving for you.

The yoga flow may be difficult, just remember I've been practicing a long time and my poses can be advanced for many.

Again, be kind to yourself and let things F L O W!!!
